What is dry oil? It is a form of oil created on the basis of very light oily substances, in our case squalane from cane sugar. It has no burdensome fatty form and does not leave a tangible film on the skin. It provides an ideal balance between moisturising and a dry, silky feel. Can oil with vitamin C be used safely in summer? Yes, the vitamin C in the oil can be used in summer. It is in an oleaginous and photostable form. How do I use the oil in everyday care? We have several suggestions for how you can use our VERY SUPERBERRY oil. You can try each of them and see which works best in your care routine. Method 1. You can use the oil as a moisturising product by itself - put some onto the damp skin immediately after applying MINERAL SHOT mist or OVERNIGHT BEAUTY TRICK essence. Method 2. You can put the oil on under cream - its light emollients mean it won’t form a strong occlusal layer, so it can easily let the cream pass through into the skin. It will also strengthen its action and act as a moisturiser, blocking transepidermal water loss (TEWL) - the process of losing the skin’s natural moisture. Method 3. You can apply the oil on top of cream - then it will form a layer protecting the components of the cream against rapid oxidation, and give the cream extra moisturising and lipid supplementing strength. We especially recommend this option at night and for very dry and dehydrated skin. Method 4. You can mix the oil together with cream, it blends in easily to the formula and you obtain a product with a richer consistency which can be used as a night mask. Method 5. Mix two drops of oil with your favourite foundation (preferably mattifying), and the oil will partially balance out the matte effect with a natural glow. This means that the foundation is enriched with extra care properties. The oils mix very well with facial foundations. What concentration of vitamin C is in the concentrate? VERY SUPERBERRY contains 2% pure fat-soluble vitamin C. The oil form we use displays a very strong affinity to the skin’s lipid layer and enables deeper penetration by the vitamin C, resulting in increased effectiveness even with a very low concentration. This is one of the currently most effective and expensive forms of active L-ascorbic acid. Does the concentrate have comedogenic properties, i.e. will it clog my skin? Comedogenicity, blocking pores, is an individual reaction of the skin which cannot be predicted. Our concentrate is composed in such a way that its comedogenicity is reduced to a minimum - specially for you, we’ve selected ultralight emollients with low comedogenic potential, and squalane from sugar cane. Who can use VERY SUPERBERRY concentrate? Our concentrate with vitamin C is an ideal product for everyone. Its effects will be appreciated both by people struggling with post-acneous discolourations and by mature women beset by wrinkles and those with tired skin which needs a a vitamin boost. It is a cosmetic with multifaceted effects on the skin which is most certainly worth considering in your daily care ritual. Apparently oil products should be applied to damp skin. Should VERY SUPERBERRY concentrate be applied in the same way? Our oil serums can be applied to both dry and damp skin. A product in the form of oil is simply easier to spread on a wet face. You use up less of it. Applying the concentrate to damp skin doesn’t mean that you have to wash your face with water before putting it on.
